What We Do

Every Service Your Yard Needs.

From weekly mowing to pressure washing and full yard restorations — we handle it all. No contracts, no fine print.

01

Weekly & Bi-Weekly

Lawn Mowing & Maintenance

Consistent, detail-focused mowing that keeps your property polished week after week. We run commercial mowers sized to protect residential turf and follow every cut with edging, trimming, and a full surface cleanup.

  • Commercial mowing tuned for residential turf health
  • Hard-edge definition along every concrete surface
  • Line trimming around fences, beds, and obstacles
  • Clipping and debris removal from all paved areas
  • Flexible weekly or bi-weekly visit cadence
02

Shaping & Sculpting

Hedge & Bush Trimming

Beautifully trimmed hedges sculpted into clean geometric shapes along a home

Neglected shrubs make the entire yard look rough. We sculpt hedges of every size — from knee-high borders to two-story privacy screens — and leave the site spotless when we are done.

  • Shaping for all common North Alabama shrub species
  • Geometric, rounded, or natural form options
  • Tall hedge and arborvitae trimming up to 20+ feet
  • Full debris collection and site cleanup
  • Noticeable curb-appeal improvement after every visit
03

Exterior Surface Cleaning

Pressure Washing

Professional pressure washing cleaning a driveway at a Huntsville home

Alabama humidity leaves driveways, walkways, and siding coated in grime and algae faster than you would expect. Our high-pressure cleaning strips it all back to fresh concrete and clean surfaces.

  • Concrete driveway and walkway restoration
  • Deck, patio, and outdoor living area cleaning
  • Fence and gate surface washing
  • Vinyl and brick siding treatment
  • Algae, mold, and mildew elimination
04

Complete Yard Revival

Yard Cleanup & Restoration

Dramatic lawn restoration showing a yard transformed from overgrown to immaculate

Properties that have fallen behind — tall grass, tangled vines, storm debris — get a full reset in one visit. We treat, clear, mow, and finish the beds so the yard looks maintained again by the time we pull out.

  • Targeted herbicide application on weeds and invasive growth
  • Limb, brush, and fallen debris hauling
  • Sapling and volunteer tree removal
  • Complete mow, edge, and trim of the full property
  • Bed dressing with mulch or pine straw to finish
05

Seasonal Service

Lawn Aeration

Core aerator pulling soil plugs from a green residential lawn during aeration service

Heavy clay soil across the Tennessee Valley locks out water and air. Plug aeration punches through that barrier so roots grow deeper, fertilizer actually absorbs, and your lawn bounces back stronger each season.

  • Plug-style aeration using commercial walk-behind units
  • Wall-to-wall coverage for uniform root-zone access
  • Extra passes on worn paths and high-use zones
  • Overseeding available for thin or patchy areas
  • Plugs left in place to break down and feed the soil
06

Lawn Leveling

Sand Leveling & Top Dressing

Sand being spread across a lawn for professional leveling and top dressing

An uneven lawn scalps in the high spots and puddles in the low ones. We apply clean leveling sand in controlled layers, working it into the canopy so the surface grades out flat without burying the grass.

  • Grade evaluation to map high and low areas
  • Washed, screened sand selected for the turf type
  • Raked into the canopy to avoid smothering blades
  • Gradual multi-layer approach for deeper corrections
  • Hard-surface cleanup after every application

Design & Seasonal Care

Flower Bed Design & Maintenance

Beautifully maintained flower bed with colorful seasonal flowers and fresh mulch

Well-kept beds frame the whole property. We handle the design, planting, weeding, and ground-cover refresh so your landscape stays colorful and tidy through every season.

  • Custom bed layouts sized to your property
  • Seasonal color swaps for year-round interest
  • Mulch or pine straw ground-cover installation
  • Ongoing weed control and border definition
  • Shrub and perennial pruning as needed
08

New Lawn Installation

Sod Installation

Fresh sod being installed on a residential lawn in Huntsville Alabama

Skip the months of waiting on seed. We grade the soil, amend North Alabama clay where needed, and lay Bermuda or Zoysia sod for an instant, established lawn — timed to the local growing window for fastest root-down.

  • Bermuda and Zoysia varieties chosen for your conditions
  • Soil grading, tilling, and clay amendment as needed
  • Tight-seam sod placement for seamless coverage
  • Post-install watering plan and care walkthrough
  • Timing matched to zone 7b for fastest establishment
09

Bed Coverage & Weed Suppression

Mulching & Pine Straw

Fresh hardwood mulch applied to landscape beds around a Huntsville home

Nothing sharpens a property's appearance like freshly dressed beds. We strip out old material, re-cut the edges, and lay down the right depth of mulch or pine straw to block weeds and insulate roots.

  • Hardwood mulch or pine straw — your preference
  • Old and decomposed material removed first
  • Borders re-cut for crisp bed definition
  • Weed fabric added where appropriate
  • Applied at 2–3 inches for effective weed suppression

FAQ

Common Questions

What goes into a Pina Lawn quote?
We base pricing on your lot dimensions, current condition, and how frequently you want service. Most standard mowing quotes can be handled over the phone in a couple of minutes — call or text 256-945-1407 for a same-day number.
Can I pause or adjust my schedule if something comes up?
Absolutely. There are no binding agreements with Pina Lawn. If you need to skip a visit, shift your frequency, or take a break for any reason, just send us a text. We keep things flexible on purpose.
Weekly or bi-weekly — which frequency is right for my lawn?
During peak growing season (April–October), Bermuda and Zoysia lawns in our area typically need weekly attention. Once temperatures cool down, bi-weekly visits are usually sufficient. We help you find the right cadence and shift gears seasonally so your lawn stays ahead of the growth.
Which Huntsville and Madison neighborhoods do you reach?
We run routes throughout Huntsville, Madison, Meridianville, and Owens Cross Roads daily. If you are in Five Points, Hampton Cove, Jones Valley, Research Park, Twickenham, or any Madison subdivision, we almost certainly cover your street. Drop us your address and we will confirm instantly.
Is mowing all you do on a regular visit?
Far from it. Every scheduled stop includes a full mow with commercial equipment, hard-edge definition along concrete with metal-blade edgers, line trimming around every obstacle, and a blowdown of all paved surfaces. The goal is a polished result, not just shorter grass.
My property is seriously overgrown — is that something you handle?
It is, and we do it regularly. We will assess the situation, treat the overgrowth, haul away debris and saplings, then mow, edge, and dress the beds. Most properties can be brought back in a single coordinated visit. Give us a call and walk us through what you are dealing with.
